7 months

This month it took me forever to get a good picture. Bee kept launching himself at my face. It's a good thing I have a good catch or we would be in trouble. I love him and his goofiness.

Here is our little rockstar. He was singing and playing his hairbrush guitar for half the day. I'm so glad he knows how to have fun without being entertained.

Bee is growing up so fast. He can already pull himself up in his crib. I don't think he's old enough for this..... I swear before I know it he will be running around.

Help!!! I've gotten up and I can't get down! He hasn't quite figured out how to sit down yet. He will drop after awhile but he will hold on for dear life and squeak before admitting defeat.

Canada Day 2013

Hudson family traditional pancake breakfast before the parade. Jason and Grandpaw running the grill keeping everyone fully satisfied. Yummmm pancakes and sausages.

A little bit of baby time on the swing with my cousin. Our babies are practically a month apart. I loved growing up with my cousins as my best friends, that still continues with my cousins spouses. Bee also gets to have some instant best friends with my cousins kids. How lucky are we?

My Grandpaw's Canada Day Get-Up.

Here is our little family all decked out for Canada Day at the Raymond Parade.

Bee watching his first parade with Grandma Robinson.
ps. It's still weird calling my mom grandma....

All tucked out after the parade

After the parade we had a BBQ at Jasons parents and a mini water fight. I love Canada Day and am glad that we can split holidays between both sides of our family.

Living on the Edge

We went to the cabin again and this is what we found..... the water came up just a bit.

This is the retaining wall that we rebuilt a couple weeks ago. Sad day, we are going to have to redo this again next year. Hopefully it doesn't erode as much. Cross your fingers for us!

Bee's first boat ride!

The first trip he just sat there and observed, just like he does with all new things. The second time was much more fun. He was singing into the wind and shaking his head side to side. We put him on the floor and he giggled at the vibrations. He is going to be sooo much fun this summer. I am excitted for our week down here with family.

Bee loved the water. We dipped out toes and fingers in the water. We sat on the steps for a bit and splashed around. I was watching him instead of the waves and suddenly a huge wave came and drenched us both from head to toe. He didn't even make a fuss. I am such a spoiled mum. I am glad that I put him in swimming lessons, let him play in water and splash his face during baths or playtime. I think that they have paid off.

Our new additions to the cabin. We build two chalets. At least that's what we are calling them. They look more like a barn on the outside....

The top is a loft area for the kids. We are going to put foam mats up there so they can move them however they like. It will fit over 6 kids which is perfect for families and parties with cousins. I wish we had these when I was a kid. When I was growing up we had a trailer that had a bed that we all crammed on. It was fun but I like the idea of giving the kids a place of their own.

The main floor is a room with a queen bed. Eventually we will spruce them up with shelving and some storage but for now we just needed space for our growing family..

Yes they are built on a hill. We like to live on the edge as you can tell by the placement of our tent trailer. It has been balanced like this for over 20 years!!
