Supermum

Somedays being a new mom is really hard. Maybe I should rephrase that often being a new mom is hard. I think I am improving as Bee gets older. It probably has something to do with him being more independent but I also think I am learning to adapt to all of the changes that our family faces.

Today I felt like I could take on the world and I had an extra kid!! Good thing he is wonderful. My cousin has done a great job with her son and I'm glad to have him in my home.

Lets see. What did we do. Dishes, like all of the dishes I own. (Maybe that's a detail I should leave out....) Laundry: dried, washed, folded AND put away 5 loads. Whew! I'm tired just thinking about it. Went on a walk for an hour. Remembered to eat something. Read stories and put the kids down for a nap. While they slept I watched tv and ate cookie dough. So much for my Bodykey program. I deserved a cheat moment anyways I killed the day and my weight loss goals are rocking.

I feel like I should mention that the majority of my accomplishments were done before 1:00. That nap/cookie dough time was wonderful but slowed me down..

I'm sure Jason wishes I had these days more often but that's just not how it works. I once saw a saying that went something like this. "Marry a creative person and somedays you will come home to a disaster but sometimes you will come home to a shining home. Get used to the first option, it will happen more often." I will look for the actual saying. It is quite funny and partially accurate.

I'm sure some of you can relate.

I hope you all have a super day. Chances are if you don't get everything done you are still a super mum.
