Seventh Day Of Christmas

Today I combined education with our Christmas activity. It finally snowed so we brought some inside! Yes, I am that crazy. We used the snow to make a fun number sensory bin.

 

 

It was simple, really. I put our plastic numbers in our bin and covered them with snow. I gave the kids spoons to find the numbers. Instead of them just digging aimlessly I asked them to find certain numbers. It was a great way to work on Bee's number recognition and counting. We also did a bit of molding with the snow once it became more packed. They played for an hour! Whoop Whoop!
